In the early to mid seventies Oprah used cocaine during an intense relationship with her boyfriend. She confessed this during an emotional taping of her nationally syndicated show in early 1995 with a former crack smoker. “I understand the guilt, I understand the secrecy, I understand all that. But what I know is the spirit of God inside all of us. There is nothing greater than the spirit within you to overcome this. You and God can conquer this”.
