We know that most people are in denial regarding their addiction. Many fear judgement and thus avoid asking for help. Some need to lose everything before admitting they have a problem. Others realize soon after a few bad experiences. The path to both addiction and recovery are different for all of us; however there are some obvious signs that’s it’s time to get help.
Once you realize you can no longer control your addiction, feel depression or anger, have negatively impacted those around you, or you have suffered severe financial consequences, you know it’s time to seek help. Feeling alone or lost is not a great feeling. Seek help today, speak to a loved one who will keep you in check and be thankful for those around you willing to help.
