We know that stress can trigger a relapse in any addict. One way to avoid stress is to avoid drama. This is easier said than done. We all have friends, family members, or coworkers who thrive on drama. Some are seeking attention while others like the adrenaline rush. Your goal in dealing with these individuals is not to get drawn into the drama maze. Once in the maze you will find it difficult to get out. Or think of it as a play and they are performing on a stage. Do Not Go Up On Stage! You are not in the show. Watch from the cheap seats,  and if you must get closer then move to the front row. Set boundaries so you won’t get sucked into their drama. You have enough of your own battles to fight. They don’t want their lives fixed or problems solved. You do! Your a fighter. Your strong! Your in recovery! Stay there and keep saying no!
