Regardless of what you may think about the CDC’s methodology for compiling Opioid statistics we have a pill epidemic in this country. It is leading to more abuse, more overdoses, and more deaths. Opioids—primarily prescription pain relievers and heroin—are the main driver of overdose deaths. According to the CDC Opioids were involved in 28,647 deaths in 2014 and opioid overdoses have quadrupled since 2000. Whether the number is accurate or off by a large percentage we have to many people dying due to Opioid abuse. Just Say No To Opioid Abuse!
